A couple of English papers have used lip-readers to figure out what was said, though. Wasn’t there a Seinfeld episode about this?

The bigger the tournament the smaller the trophy - so because the World Cup is the biggest tournament it has the smallest trophy. Notice too how when you say the World Cup you don’t even have to mention the sport.
One thing I don’t understand… why is the World Series called that, when it’s only USA and Canadian teams involved?
I wondered about that too. I had heard that the trophy for the World Series was donated by a newspaper called The World, but I just checked with Ask.com and they say that is a myth. I guess it’s because they’re Americans and the world revolves around them.
