They’re pretty excited about the container port in Prince George, already making plans to capitalize on the shipping opportunity that Fairview Terminal will present.
The Opinion 250 website today released details of a report that has just come out that plans on at least 100 jobs for PG with the development of an inland port and over 350 jobs along the Highway 16 and 97 corridor tied into that inland port.

Hope somebody around here is thinking of ways to help our town benefit from the port, there seems to be a lot of spin off benefits tied to the place, hope some of them spin our way and not all of them head east…
