When discussing LNG, a number of people said that Australia was reaping benefits that we should be getting from LNG. Apparently we made a wise decision in rejecting this:

Interesting link on there about building a Nove Scotia terminal now that BC’s cancelled. My sister lives in Truro, converted her furnaces to propane a couple years ago but there is no natural gas there yet/
We MUST export oil and gas overseas, right now as much as possible for as little benefit as possible before ever considering letting Canadians benefit from lower energy prices!
What about Site C? We’d be paying higher eletricity prices to build that so the LNG exporters could pay less?
Pipelines? If they can get $5 a bbl more exporting oil guess who else would have to pay an extra $5 to get their oil?
