Does anyone else think there should be no parking in front of the play area at Roosevelt.
Have seen a few near misses with kids running out between parked cars without looking, cars backing up with kids behind them. Today a diesel pickup backed in and was running for about 15 minutes with exhaust drifting into the monkey bar area where kids were playing. Several kids were coughing.
I was told last year it was mentioned in a school newsletter and asked folks not to park there. No signs were ever posted so the area was not officially designated no parking.
This to me is a safety issue and hope it doesn’t take someone being injured for the powers that be to do something to make the area safer for everyone.
