Rupert’s on the end of the line, do you get many complete outages there? Foreskin James had six or seven long ones over the winter.
One was so long we both came home from work and played crib by candlelight. Eventually with our coats on. Then we had no more candles and went and hid under the blankets to keep warm. Power came back about 2 in the morning, just as the pipes were about to freeze.
Worst winter for that i’ve ever seen living here! Came to think of 4 hour city wide outages as the short ones…
They don’t happen here that much.
