Has anyone out there implemented (IRL, not just googled about it once) Option 82 on a DHCP relay agent with 802.1X security? If so, how did you get around the relay going back to a different DHCP server when an unauthenticated client was moved into another VLAN? I’m starting to think these two technologies need to be mutually exclusive, but I’m looking for feedback out there if it exists.
