One more slight delay for Pacific Coast School

Prince Rupert’s newest home for education will have to wait just a little bit longer for official approval, this after Prince Rupert City council held off on final approval pending approval from the Ministry of Transportation.

The Pacific Coast School which has already had one location vetoed by city council, will have to provide reassurances to the Ministry of Transportation that students won’t be hopping in and out of cars in front of the building, which is considered to be on Highway 16…

Gimme a break.  I guess they need to absolve themselves of any risk, but these kids need to be in school . Where are they attending now?

The city seems to have made this process rather hard on the SD that’s for sure, from the botched up original site selection (the city perhaps should have flagged it for the SD as a no go zone) to the need for hoops on this location, Hecate Strait was there for a number of years and near as I can tell it too is a school of sorts…

Oh well, hopefully not too much longer, as for the students

I don’t believe they are attending any school at the moment, some may still be at the other two high schools, not sure of that though.

Mig, help us out here…
