Olympic Torch

I received an email today stating that the Olympic Torch will pass through Prince Rupert
February 1, 2010:

“The Olympic Games Olympic Torch will pass through Prince Rupert, on Day 95 of it’s historic and momentous cross country relay, with an evening community celebration now in the planning stage. The Olympic Flame will arrive in Prince Rupert just days before we host the Northern BC Winter Games and the 51st Annual All Native Basketball Tournament.”

We’re sorry, but we’re going to have to cancel the 2010 Winter Olympics, because the torch blew out in a rainstorm in Prince Rupert.

Would they have to go to Greece  to re-light it?

What does the olympic torch and the all native have in common? What a pile of crap!!!

Not much–it’s just cool that all those big events for Rupert are occuring back to back.

Since we weren’t allowed to vote on the Olympics like they did in Vancouver, maybe we should have a campaign to douse the flame like they did in China.
:astonished:

Nah, then we’d be the assholes of the world. Not a good title to have.

Yeah - especially since soon the leader of the US won’t be a baboon.

They couldn’t have picked a better day.

I’m excited.
