During an earning call on January 26, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan CEO William J. Doyle said a decision has yet to be made on a potash export facility on Ridley Island in Prince Rupert.

Hmmm…it sounds like they are just waiting for the environmental process to be totally completed and approved to make their big announcement.

What is a "earning call " ?

Usually a big teleconference with reporters, shareholders, etc. The company gives a financial report about the previous quarter or year or whatever.

So what part of we are NOT coming till land claims are a non issue have you not heard! No terminal till that is resolved.

3rd year running they said would have a decision made by the end of the year. Is Canpotex real or just spam?

Smart move on their part… obviously foreign markets want into Canada, so they flood the market decreasing demand (and attempt a buy out of Canada’s Potash industry). Once the supply starts to dwindle, Canada will be set to meet the growing demand… and Canpotex will be worth millions more!

It’s just a matter of time before its built. The port is planning the infrastructure at Ridley so it’s probably just formalities that are keeping the actual announcement from happening. My thoughts anyways.
