I’ve turned off the new account registration for today.
Even though we use a spam blacklist, and it gets 99% of the spam sign ups, the 1% that get through still have to be dealt with manually. So to try and stem some of the spam, I’m going to see if just disabling the registration will get HTMF off the spammers’ target lists.
I’ll turn it back on tomorrow sometime.
