What I think is also remarquable about the canadian delegation is that the medals were won in 10 different sports. That’s more than any other country. Sure the speed skating is strong but seeing medals in other sports shows that the preparation of the athletes is working fairly well for the most part.
I think the prediction/hope was for 25 medals. Canada won 24.

I’m sure there were even medals that we won that were not expected. So really, the number of medals not won in events that we were supposed to win, would be a little higher.
