Most of Reid's art recovered

Most of the art by late Haida artist Bill Reid stolen from UBC’s Museum of Anthropology last month was found intact when police executed search warrants Sunday on a pair of residences in New Westminster and Burnaby.

But two items are unaccounted for, and the three pieces of Mexican jewelry taken in the May 24 heist have already been dismantled. The panel pipe Reid carved from argillite stone is still missing, as is a gold brooch that features an eagle in profile.
