Monday is a Stat. Holiday?

I heard that Monday is a stat. holiday, is this true? My Dad told me it is indeed a Fed. holiday, has been for the past 2 or so years.  Apparently, Family Day is celebrated. Was he pulling my leg?  I hope so as I have a load of appts. booked at the job Monday

Not in BC:

Only in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

Until the Olympics are paid off, BC will be a Family Day free zone. :imp:

so never then?

Nope.  I wish it was though.

It can be in your mind, just close your eyes and think real hard. What would you be doing when you get there/[/quote]

Maybe, maybe not, take it anyway ,your boss will understand.

Family Day (as per Wikipedia) is the name of a public holiday in South Africa, in the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island, in the American state of Arizona, in Vanuatu, in Vietnam and (as “Family & Community Day”) in the Australian Capital Territory.
