I think I might just order one of those.

actually dosen’t look like I can due to the order page not working :S

Probably overloaded with everybody ordering them.

If you’re a student or teacher, you can get a small discount too. I ordered one a few minutes ago. The webpage was slow, but eventually worked.

Make sure you start at apple.ca so that you get Canadian prices.

yea I’m defiently going to have to pick one up.

MiG did you get the 1GB or the 512… I think I’m going to order the 1 gig on friday.

Is there a gadget that can transfer from the iPod to the car stereo system?

id like to order there new head less mac for my gf. they look small and nifty…

Yup, just your standard tape adapter will work fine.

If you have a higher-end CDplayer, you may have an auxilary input, which you can plug your ipod into. That would give better sound quality than the cassette adapter, but isn’t always available. Also, I read not too long ago that Alpine is selling a device that alows your ipod charge and dock with specific Alpine decks. This is especially handy becuase your iPod will remain hidden in your glovebox, will always be charged, plus you can navigate through your music using your decks remote or head unit.

Is there any car stereos that have internal hard drives, and firewire/usb connectors out there? o_O

I really want a car stereo with a hard drive, with wifi capabilities and iTunes syncing.

You’d pull up to your house and you would sync with your computer. That would rock.

mmm yes. There should be an iauto XD

i think that is just plain stupid. Id rather take the Carrier out and into the house and sync it more secure…

No, the player would be in the trunk or something. That would be neat. No need to lug anything around, just sync it from the house. I wish I had a spare iBook. I’d just make one of these things.
