I was just wondering if anyone knew of an easy program taht i could use to record voices and add like effects and stuff… i have a project for english and we have to do like a radio play … where we just act it out by saying the lines and adding effects. eg. thunder if it was raining… if anyone can help me on what program i should get to use… PLEASE TELL ME!

Use cooledit, i think it has 4 tracks and just download wav files
Cool Edit Pro is a great program. Easy to use, lots of options, and you can have loads of tracks. But you’re on your own when it comes to finding it.
Cool Edit was acquired by Adobe. I’ve switched from Cool Edit to Adobe Audition, and I’m quite happy with it.

gawsh they used to have these gizmos called “tape recorders” that did all that stuff, an’ you didn’t even need a computer or soundcard…
