He uses the purple packaged ones and they sound all tinny compared to the other brand he’s now switched to. The Ernie Ball’s seem to all break on him in a matter of less than 10 uses, while the other brand he uses he went almost a year until one string broke.

edit: The other brand was GHS… which of course they don’t sell in Teddy’s anymore.

I haven’t had to buy new strings since Christmas but they’re starting to feel not so good. I think it’s about time to get a new set.
