This morning I noticed our Internet was down, did all the usual stuff like turn the modem on and off nothing working. phoned citywest as it’s Saturday and they are open to 12:00 or are they ? So this is like the second time in a few months it’s gone out on the weekend, and I never get a discount for the days I didn’t have Internet. So can anyone tell me is citywest closed on Saturday’s. Like said I knew at one time the Internet staff worked until 8 pm I guess things have changed.
9 AM it magicaly came back on, so its all good…
The internet went down around 7:45am and is back now - hopefully for a bit. We shall see for how long though.
Mine was down for a bit this morning as well (in Terrace). DHCP kept getting different IP addresses when I refreshed, but nothing was working. I couldn’t ping past the local gateway.
It just came back on a minute ago.
During the outage, I couldn’t reach the Citywest.ca homepage on either Telus or Rogers internet either (to look up the Internet support number). So I assume it was a system-wide outage.
Yeah, looks like it is back.

I could load my webpages that are hosted by citytel, but, nothing out of town. Weird indeed. Glad it is back.
Mine is down again right now, 9:30pm.
Um, never mind, turning my cable modem off and on again fixed it. AKA, the IT Crowd solution.
