In Robbery, U. of British Columbia Loses Gold Items Worth Millions
Thieves stole a collection of gold items believed to be worth millions from the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology at the beginning of the weekend. A university spokesman, Scott Macrae, told the Canadian Press that most of the stolen pieces are by a well-known Canadian artist, Bill Reid, and are considered “priceless.â€
