I sure miss the old HTMF. What ever happened? What was the cause of the population loss?

So I just took a look, and the traffic’s about the same as it ever was.

I think the difference is that not as many people are starting topics as in the old days. If you start a topic, people will reply. This thread is an example

Even at HTMF’s “peak”, that’s about what we would average – about 1000 unique visitors a day. But a few years ago, we’d have more conversation starters than now.

Some of us have grown up  Or moved away.

If you want to have the old-school HTMF feeling back, start some threads.

Forums are turning into my new Facebook.
Some may argue they’re one in the same ( not me) . Maybe the kid should pull a page outta Ms Ashley’s book and create an alternate form of communication. If memory serves, we treated her respectfully, and if it gets heated we always have our mod(s) to keep the peace. If we get the kid, they will come…:man_office_worker:

Speaking of graphs… the server sent me a bandwidth alert today… Which is weird, as most traffic goes through Cloudflare.

But for some reason that I can’t figure out, almost 300 people were on the site at the same time just after noon Mountain Time.
