How do I set TextEdit on my Mac to write hmtl code?
It only allows you to save as rtf, etc. Setting save as html inserts code…
Need to save as file.html and then open in Safari or FFF to view.
I use textwrangler for text editing, it does sftp as well, so it’s nice for editing remote websites.
In textedit, though, go to Format menu and choose “make plain text”.

Seriously, Textwrangler. Free, and it even has unix command-line tools.
