BAGHDAD - The government said Thursday a security cordon of 40,000 Iraqi soldiers and police will ring Baghdad starting next week in what it dubbed Operation Lightning, aimed at halting a spree of insurgent violence that has killed more than 620 people this month. The interior minister, meanwhile, said his office believes militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was wounded, while an Internet statement claimed that Iraq’s most feared terrorist group had appointed a deputy to fill in for the Jordanian.
All we need now is a way of using blood instead of oil and we can just skip the spending billions on bombs and just round up all the poor people in the world.
I will try to say this in a way that people can understand my point of view on the war in Iraq. Its usless, NO point to it.
here we have a group of people who lived by surpression they were not able to do anything as they had no freedom, now they have freedom but cant handel it. when the americans leave do you realy think these people will be satisfied hell no they will fight, untill there is a regine like before.
The americans are there for the long run weather they now it or not they cant pull out. Look at afghanistan and how they are almost back to when the taliban were running that country. they cant listen or play music. the opoum fields are full and ready for export. they have been surpressed for so long they dont know how to handle freedom.
This is part of the reason canada didnt go in as they new it will never end over there and that once you in those country’s all you are doing is sending good soldiers to die.
In a ideal world it would be nice to help these countries to achieve freedom, but freedom scares the shit out of the Muslim clerics they dont want to loose control over the youth and the masses of Muslims.
