I see the SPCA recently donated a truck load of dog food to the Sally Ann. I guess if you’re hungry enough . . .
A lot of the low income group have pets … they need to eat too. Apparently the SPCA got a ton of dog food donated to them. Nice that they share
Heh. I realize that. I just thought it was funny that wasn’t pointed out at all in the Daily News article!
My favorite sentence in the story is:
Vincent, who dropped the food off with a little help from locals having lunch at the Sally Ann, said that having a consistent diet would be the best thing for the animals.
The spca has signed on with Hills Science Diet so they will get all their dry food from them for free from now on. They can still except donations of wet food and treats and toys etc just no dry food so that’s why they had do donate all that to the salvation army and the wildlife shelter.
That’s excellent. I’m glad the SPCA has a sponsor like that to help them out.
At least now everyone can bring toys and enrichment to the shelter, instead of boring food! Im sure the many puppies/ dogs and cats will enjoy that!
Cool…Now I wish they could help out the cats too.
catnip that’s what they want
The cats are eating science diet too I believe…It really sucks that there are so many cats up there but we can all get them from someone else we know so they don’t really adopt them out much. Poor kitties!! Atleast my two are from there and I could help them out a bit and they are most definetly awesome cats!
I thought the quote taken from the PRDN article was hilarious!
Letterman material!
