Girl Guides of Canada is an organization for girls and women.
In Prince Rupert meetings will be:
Sparks (girls in K-1) and Brownies (gr. 2 - 3) will meet at Roosevelt Park School on Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:00
Guides (Gr. 4 - 6) will be meeting on Conrad School on Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00
Pathfinders (gr. 7 - 9) and Rangers (gr. 10 - 12) will have their meetings on Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30 at Roosevelt Park School
All meetings begin this week - Sept. 21 or 22. Registration is still open for all levels, although the Spark Unit is almost full. The cost per girl is $95 for the year. Partial and full subsidies are available for those who cannot afford the fee.
An adult needs to come to the first meeting to do the registration. If this is not possible then call Dawn at 250-624-6450 to complete registration in advance of your daughter attending her first meeting.
Girl Guides is also for women. If you are looking for a place to spend your volunteer hours, please consider Girl Guides. It’s fun, worthwhile, educational and social. We camp, do crafts, learn interesting things, and expand our horizons. Training is provided, leader skills are learned and are transferrable to the workplace.
