Great avatar pic Beanaround!
I think those two facts are connected. Itās at 1.26 because people are still filling up their tanks there.
Lovelyā¦like a GAry Larson cartoon. Those suckers shelling out the extra money.
Can you believe it?..Why why whyā¦
Itās how I perceive my wife perceives meā¦sometimes.
why the price of diesel is more than gas? why duz the price of gas drop faster than diesel? why is it 104 in terrace? why duz the price go up very quickly with the price of oil and only drop slowly. why is gas and diesel the same price in kitwanga?
Gas prices here in September:
Gas prices here today: 71.9 !
Welp the big three didnāt get their bailout.Ā I foresee a continued decline in gas prices.Ā Weāre pretty much boned.Ā Economy is screwed.Ā Iām moving to the hills.Ā Going to start up a new cult religion with me as a prophet.Ā Any takers?Ā All the chicken feed you can eat!Ā
If you find the answer to that Iād love to know too! I have to keep repeating to myself āat least I can go twice as far on a tank of diesel compared to most gas cars, at least I can go twice as far on a tank of diesel compared to most gas carsāā¦
I remember when diesel was 51 cents/L - Iām sure that dates me nowā¦
Mostly demand.Ā In the good olā days diesel wasnāt as popular and it was somewhat flogged off to promote sales.Ā Nowadays due to the increased popularity of diesel and the increased demand for it and other crude oil distillates (heating oil, etc) diesel prices have risen in contrast to gas prices.Ā
Another factor to consider is the increased cost to manufacture the new Low Sulfur diesel and at least in the states the government taxes on diesel is higher than the taxes on gasoline.Ā
I have a propane vehicle, and when gas took off so did propane.
Funny thing was, it peaked at 87.9 in the summer and hasnāt come down one red cent. So now propaneās 87.9 and gas is 79.9 and itās parked.
Iāve taken to gassing up the Saturn when Iām passing thru Vanderhoof just to protest!
I am in burnaby metrotown and gas is 74.9 here! suppose to get 4 inches of snow tonight rupert got just a dusting funny you have to come down here to get the snow.
The snow can stay there too, thank you very much!

Another interesting note on the gouging thats taking place is when the petro canada refinery in alberta went out they were out of gas meaning we get our gas from alberta and yet during the hurricane petro canada also raised their prices even though there was no chance of them being affected.
Actually Highway 1 from Walnut Grove - Langley to Vancouver is not too bad. Unlike some of those poor Surrey and Delta folks who had to cross the Alex Fraser Bridge or the Massey Tunnel, who find themselves inching because of multi-vehicle accidents or a stalled semi everyday.
Another Burnaby local eh? I just woke up and Willingdon Ave. is fairly sloppy. Waiting for a wreck! Come onnnnnnnn.
You mean Old Orchard.
Thatās what old-time Burnabeings called it.
Before Pimps & Queers got turned into the Mall From Hell. When Kingsway had so many cops on it we all called it PiG Alley.
