Venezuela quarantines cruise ship with A/H1N1 flu virus.
Ship named the Ocean Dream docked off the island of Margarita, northeast Venezuela. Venezuela quarantined a cruise ship on Wednesday after three crew members were diagnosed with the A/H1N1 flu virus. The cruise ship is docked off Margarita and the passengers aboard will not be allowed off for a week
I’m skeptical of the Cruise ships that are coming into Prince Rupert for the summer now.
Especially of where these tourist are coming from or where they have visited before they set foot in Prince Rupert.
Well on the plus side, we have one of the lightest port of call schedules in place since they returned to the cruise business here, if we all stay home on Thursdays we’ll probably be ok, though the tourists may think they’ve wandered into a ghost town (might think that way anyways if they get down Third Avenue way)
