Local sports enthusiasts will have a better idea of whether or not Prince Rupert will ice a team in the Central Interior Hockey League (CIHL), a senior men’s league that includes teams from Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, Houston, Hazelton, Vanderhoof, and Williams Lake, at the start of next month as organizers have until June 1 to meet certain criteria set out by the league at its AGM earlier this month.
“Right now the whole thing comes down to money. We have to try and find money for a bond of $1,000 and the $500 registration fee. Those are the two primary conditions that the CIHL gave us until June 1 to meet,â€
