Election Day. Who should I vote for? The job of mayor entails herding cats on city council, and identifying the problems at hand and in the future and finding solutions to them to the satisfaction of the majority of the electorate. Who would want a job like that? On top of that, they have to be a positive salesperson/promoter of the city. Seems like most candidates can identify the current problems and promise to study/review them till the next election. So Prince Rupert its’ time to choose, please vote for whoever you like. We all have our own reasons to do so. I hope that those candidates that are not successful will remain in Rupert to help contribute to a better life for all. Good luck to all.
Polls open at 8:00 AM at the Civic Center. Bring some identification with you. If you have never voted before, simply bring a piece of mail with your current Rupert address on it.
