Fluke!!! Just opened the bill and the traffic they used was split over 3 billing cycles… only dinged me about $800. Still of the bandwidth delivered to serve an entire community, one little piggy used over 2/3 all by themselves.
I do have a nasty little shaping box called a NetEqualizer but it’s older and the throughput is only 2 Mbps. Guess they’ll have to live with that if they want back on. All the piggies can share it. I guess I need to hike back up the mountain to install it, that’s where my POP is.
Might be a good project to integrate into my new NAT box if I can track down some shaping software…
