This is a very interesting perspective from Stephen Hawking; he suggests aliens should be avoided at all costs.

THE aliens are out there and Earth had better watch out, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist — but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all it that can to avoid any contact.

Billions and billions of stars out there, billions of solar systems–it makes sense that there might be some place that supports life just as developed and varied as Earth does. Once you put the Stargates into the equation… jeez.

I dont think Mr.Hawking has to worry about the aliens as they will probably think he is a robot anyways.
