Whew, that was a no brainer decision, no offence to local ski bums, but in our current economic conditions and with our tax load already the largest in the region, it would have been political suicide for this council to fork over that kind of cash.
Would be nice to know how each council member voted though, for the record and the sake of transparency and all that jive!
I think the province would be in a better position to help why not lobby them to give you
folks a brige loan since you have 1.2 million cash already.
