Computer Pioneer dies

Ok, so hit /. and see a name Ive run across a few times in the 20 or so years Ive been using computers. But the headline and the first paragraph dont jibe:

Computer pioneer Bob Bemer, who published Y2K warnings in '70s, dies at 78

POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE, Texas (AP) - Bob Bemer, a computer pioneer who published warnings of the Y2K problem in the early 1970s and helped invent a widely used coding system, has died after a battle with cancer. He was 84.

Headline says he was 78, but article says he was 84. Someone needs to fact check and proofread their stuff.

he was 84

its not like you pay them more when they get it right.
