CityWest Speed Problems (April 2007)

I thought I’d start a new thread; it is a new month.
The speed is good this a.m.

The DSL in the next apt. here in PG. See, even Telus fucks up too…

99% QOS means you could get up to 4 full days of zero connectivity. DSL isn’t a guaranteed QOS which is why T1s aren’t cheap.

This is what happens when you start downloading a torrent that you also have downloading somewhere else on your LAN:

How do you like Azureus, MiG?  I usually use Bittornado and haven’t tried that torrent client.  If it is a good one I’ll give it a try.

I’ve been using Azureus forever, though I haven’t really used any other clients… yABC back in the day, I suppose, but it wasn’t so great.

Cool.  Okay.  Thanks, Eso:-)  I’m going to give it a try.

The speed sucks tonight. :imp:

Melt away that snow from the mountaintops…http://www.speedtest.net/result/120301943.png

I was talking to citywest, Telus was going to open up some more bandwidth to Rupert today so there should be better speeds over the next few days…

Still not worth my $50 per month
