CityWest has no phones

[quote=“FranzJoseph”]Citywest is ridiculous.

I was a Citywest cell customer a little over two years ago. I am happy with Rogers.

I’m trying to find a way to somehow make a joke about Citywest and freedom of speech suppression. Can someone help? Otherwise I’m gonna have to make the obvious and unfunny joke.

Funny, in North Korea, the telco is only 25% owned by the state. Socialist state my ass.

Prince Rupert, on the other hand, owns 100% of Citywest.

On the other hand, that article did say the average phone bill in North Korea was less than $15 or so per month. Guess they don’t have many people to call.

Rates seem to be considerably cheaper in other countries than here, for reasons that are not at all clear.

it would be a much wiser solution for citywest to just allow all of its current cell users out of their contracts, sell that service to one of the other cell companies currently providing better service in rupert, and allow rogers, bell or telus to port the current numbers for those that have their numbers on business cards and signage etc. then they would not need to invest money in upgrading their infrastructure and put it to better uses. internet anybody?

They’ve asked around, nobody it seems is interested in that internet thing!
