Car recovered from Skeena belongs to missing Rupertite

A vehicle recovered from the Skeena River on Remembrance Day belongs to a missing Prince Rupert man who has been missing since October.

The car was spotted in the Skeena River approximately 74 km East of Prince Rupert by motorists who reported their discovery to the Terrace RCMP.

Members of the Prince Rupert detachment were dispatched to scene, and subsequently the vehicle was recovered by the RCMP dive team, assisted by a collision and reconstruction analyst.
