I think the building referred to was aptly called The Federal building and in later years was Gordon and Anderson’s store.
Just a bit of confusion as to when it burned down. The Bowman article says
December 1958. In February there was a picture of the building (if its the same one) with the caption saying that the fire was in February 1971.
I am pretty sure that the 1958 date is the correct one if its the same building.
Anybody know for sure?
