Canada to implement northern British Columbia oil tanker ban this year: CBC

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada’s Liberal government will this year deliver on its pledge for a moratorium on oil tanker traffic along the northern coast of British Columbia, CBC News reported on Friday.

They said they were going to. I wonder how far the restricted areas will go as American oil tankers travel the coast.

basically it is only between haida gwaii, vancouver island to the mainland, the ones on the west coast of haida gwaii will not be affected, most of those tankers travel just outside of the 12 mile enforcement zone.
