Not exactly accurate, either.

It’s just the LA people doing it, and it’s an “activity badge” – not a “merit badge.”  Does nothing for a scout’s rank.  Sort of the same kind of badge or patch one gets for attending special events and occasions.

Not much of a merit badge if it’s given out for NOT doing something.  How about a “not shoplifting” badge?  A “not stabbing your neighbour with a fork badge” ?
