I really hate the 12 cell, maybe look at certian pieces of hardware that don’t need to be on ? such as bluetooth ? look at other things that are turned on but don’t need to be.
I remember runing ubuntu on my older dell, and it had some cpu program running for the older PIII stepping program that was causing the battery to be eaten for no reason.
