They may have put their eggs in one basket, but the NDP had no eggs or basket in their platform in the last election. Lots of spending but no real plans for how to pay for it.
You’re correct in saying the NDP dropped the ball in 2013. Dix had plenty of ammunition to use against Clark, but, he incorrectly chose the high road during the debate. It will be interesting to see if voters punish Clark for her failing to deliver on government transparency and LNG.
