B.C. Ferries released its year-end results on June 12, and while overall earnings may have dropped the figures show the company finished the fiscal year with more than $30 million in net earnings.
Overall earnings dropped from $48.8 million last year to $37.1 million this year, with the drop being attributed to “the significant cost of new assets that came into service during the year.â€
