Is looking for a full-time internet/computer installer with some retail and customer service experience.
The job will require you to travel to and install equipment on customer premises, service equipment on remote radio towers outdoors, set up and repair computer and Internet equipment inside the office and sometimes do retail sales and telephone support in the shop.
You must be organized, self-motivated and able to follow instructions.
Must be able to work safely and efficeintly when unsupervised and be able to learn.
Networking experience is a plus, but you will receive some training relevant to performance of duties.
Applicants must have a valid clean BC Driver’s Lincense, Grade 12 and significant computer experience or verified computer qualifications and certificates.
Specialty tools will be provided, but you must provide your own work boots and basic tools for personal use outside.
Hours of work 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, sometimes (optional) Saturdays.
Wages will depend on qualifications $10 - $12 to start, $12 - $14 plus medical after a 60 day review period. Preference may be given to applicants that qualify for E.I. or work experience programs.
