I just read in the Northern View that Alaska Ferries is thinking about eliminating it service between Prince Rupert and Alaska. Since there has been a lot of talk in the past few weeks regarding the tourism - do any of you have any thoughts of how to keep this ferry here?

Well from the article it didn’t sound like they were seriously thinking about moving it to Hyder since they don’t have the dock infrastructure and they also have even less to do there than we do. Couple that with Rupert’s expected growth versus Hyder’s and the only reason they would do it would be for political reasons.
