I took a good 30 or so photos yesterday of Terrace and the Skeena/Hwy16 on my camera phone. Sadly I forgot to bring my phone USB cable with me and while my Telus phone works in Rupert for calls, I cannot send any messages or emails containing the photos…
And for anyone wondering of HWY conditions elsewhere… There is a spot just before New Hazelton that was beginning to erode pretty badly. The trees and bank were falling in as we drove by. Workers were dumping loads of rock along the bank. Prince George seemed fairly sound, and there was no flooding or washout along Hwy97 between PG and Dawson Creek. Drive BC has it posted as single lane alternating traffic. Telka was fine.
