hello all, Im sorry to bug you all, I understand some may hate me for somethings in the past, and Im sorry if I upset anyone, please I need all your help, before you start getting angry at me please just read below, if not for me, for my daughters sake,

I take full blame for not locking them up, and Im 100% certain had I locked them up, I wouldnt be here bothering you all.

2 projects long in the making came to being at the end of this school year, just in time for me and my daughter to enjoy our spells of sun here. They took hundreds of dollars and months of work to get them together, and every part came from another country, some from japan, some from france, some from US, and even some from the UK, I bought some on Craigslist, some on Ebay, and some from bike forums.

1992 ParkPre Team Comp FX 20 BMX frame,

different decals on each side, one purple/yellow, one red/black.

purple / yellow side.

serial number ends 0001, yup was first off the line.


only parkpre made these dropouts.

diacompe bulldogs, mine has matching silver version, hers had a white kuwahara stem, chrome handlebars, black kenda kontact tires, black norco seat, silver chain, chrome forks.

and here is the one she got given in a random act of kindness.

With these long nights we are having I took my daughter Amy, 9, biking along the water front and through downtown.

We got home at 11pm and we were so tired from riding we just lined up our bikes around the tree 2 feet from our front door, and trudged in to clean up and eat, after I read her a book, and watched her fall asleep, someone came up to our house and stole three of our bikes. I found out when I went down to lock them up, I do have locks, 2 of them in fact, god help me I tried to keep them locked up 100% of the time, I grew complacent I guess, with that sunset ride, I guess I thought nothing could ever go wrong. Now my daughters sleeping and laying there, and doesnt know that her prized gift bike is gone, along with her new summer one, and mine. Im so sorry, I know Im ranting, my stomach is all wierd, and I feel dizzy. Can you help me Prince Rupert? Id do just about anything to get my daughters bike back, even if I didnt get mine or her new one, just her old one, I just know shes going to cry when she wakes up, and even if I dont tell her when she goes outside she’ll see there gone, and I cant lie to her, oh my god, my poor girl, she never did nothing to anyone, and now this, no summer camps, her bikes are gone, and we’re broke…

please keep an eye out, and PM me here, or email me at [email protected], I will be phoning the police and reporting them and do my search tomorrow.

Please take no offence, but your neighbourhood is not the safest place to leave your bikes unlocked for even a minute, you of all people should know this.

Good luck in finding your bikes, very cool BMX BTW, and I will keep an eye out. (We had a couple of bike stolen recently also)

I heard the call to the police, it sounded like you had reported only one bike missing… I will Look under my bridge as well, Cause A LOT of missing bikes end up under it for “”"“Storage”"""it’s pretty stupid!

I live on the 1100 block of summit ave and I work night shift mostly so am almost always awake till like 3-4 in the AM. But on the 29th or 30th I called the police because I heard lots of noise outside my basement suite(sounded like teens about 4-5 of them). I looked out the window of my place and there was a pink bike laying just infront of my window. Of course I called the police and 1 hour later the police picked up the bike. But after I called the police I got in my car and drove around summit area and sure enough there were 5 teens, 2 of them were walking and the other 3 were on kids sized bikes. I drove around summit again and now there were only 1 kid on a bike. so I think the kids were dumping them in peoples driveways or the bushes.

I’ll keep my eye out for the bikes when ever I’m out since I’m in town for a few days. Before I moved to Victoria I actually lived not far from where you are and I know what the kids are like there. Hopefully you’ll be able to get your bikes back.

I see it all the time, older kids riding bikes that are obviously to small for them.  I hope everything works out for you. 

ps:  My daughter has the same mountain bike.  They arent cheap for a kids bike.
